The article presents the results of the study of 14 and 15 year-old adolescents’ moral and value sphere (N=416) aimed at determining students’ emotional attitude towards 33 moral values-conceptions; their informed choice of the values to make the decision how to behave in a particular situation. The study used the Color Attitude Test and the analysis of the adolescents’ responses to case problems. The study revealed that the valuebearing attitude corresponds to accepted principle of morality. Such values as “duty”, “love”, and “reputation” haven’t become internal moral principles yet, which determine the behavior and attitude towards other people. It’s easier for adolescents to analyze situations related to historical and literature personalities’ deeds from the point of view of moral values. They are prone to view everyday situations affecting them from the point of view of their personal benefit.
