Seriya «Psichologiya» (Series «Psychology») of the journal «Izvestiya Irkutskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta» («The Bulletin of Irkutsk State University») publishes scholarly, research and methodological articles, as well as applied research materials discussing pressing issues of history and methodology of psychology, pedagogical and social psychology, psychodiagnosis, and psychological counseling.

The mission of the journal is defined by modern science that combines differentiating approaches to the human study with synthesizing various knowledge revealing particular and general aspects and facts of processes concerning development, nurture, education, vocational guidance, socialization and adaptation as well as psychological aid in various living and working conditions.

The journal is intended for a wide scientific community including practitioners, educators, postgraduate students, master’s degree students, and undergraduates.

Editorial staff observes the standards and norms of ethics when accepting the articles.

All articles received by the editorial board are reviewed.

Publication in the journal is free of charge.

Series «Psychology» are published quarterly on the journal website and the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU, the full texts of all articles are in open access.

All articles published in the journal are tested for the uniqueness of the material and coincidence of the text through the "Antiplagiat" system.

The journal provides open access to published materials, for the use of which the fee is not charged. Use of materials of the journal for commercial purposes is not allowed. All materials presented in the journal are protected by copyright.
All the articles are published in the journal under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation the series «Psychology» is included in the List of Russian peer-reviewed journals where major research results of dissertations for the degrees of doctor and candidate of sciences should be published.
