Axiological Sphere Peculiarities of Personality of Teenagers from Families with Different Parenting Styles

Abstract
The results of the comparative research of axiological sphere of personality of teenagers from families using different parenting styles (authoritarian, authoritative, liberal, and indifferent styles) are presented. Since there is lack of comparison of empirical characteristics of teenager’s personality axiological sphere with family psychological factors, such kind of data seem to be important for improving and customizing psychological support provided to teenagers. Diagnostics of the structure of value and life-purpose orientations revealed statistically significant differences within particular aspects of axiological sphere of personality of teenagers from families with different parenting styles. The study shows that parenting style directly instills values adopted in the family into personal internal values of a teenager.
