Abstract
This article analyzes the mental resources of individuals engaged in multi-purpose activity that ensure their performance effectiveness, work–life balance, satisfaction with various life domains, and low stress levels. By comparing contrast groups, the study identifies the specific mental resources that contribute to success in multi-purpose activity. These include well-developed subjective beliefs and attitudes (high self-efficacy and proactivity), well-developed conscious self-regulation and its components (goal planning, modeling of significant conditions for goal achievement, outcome evaluation, flexibility, reliability, and perseverance), as well as a distinct cognitive style profile (pronounced field independence, flexibility of cognitive control, abstract conceptualization, and tolerance for unrealistic experiences).
