Emotion Intellect of Cadets with Various Types of Locus of Control

Abstract
The article presents the differences in the understanding of one’s own emotional state and its reasons, as well as purposefulness of cadets with different responsibility type in the achievement sphere. Cadets with internal locus of control show a medium level of understanding their internal state, they have a mature medium level of empathy, they can manage their own emotions and focus on achieving their goals being aware of obstacles and emotional stress. Cadets with external locus of control are quite good at managing their own emotions, have a medium level of self-control, though they are not really good at differentiating and distinguishing their own emotions, poorly understand their internal state, and are quick to give up their goals when it comes to facing failures. The results obtained can be used by psychologists providing follow-up for cadets of universities sponsored by government agencies while they start studying and undergo the process of adaptation.
