Some Features of Preschool Boys and Girls Social Intellect Development

Abstract
The article deals with theoretical approaches to the issue of social intellect development in the works of national and foreign authors. Based on theoretical analysis different views on the phenomenon being studied have been compared, and the approach to social intellect as a set of abilities making interpersonal interaction possible and adequate adaptation to changing conditions has been justified. The study has revealed some differences of manifestation of social intellect in boys and girls during preschool period. Girls have a more developed ability to identify basic emotions and handle their own emotions and feelings. Such index of an emotional component as emotional wellbeing dominates in boys. The study indicates a more pronounced social intellect in girls.
