Abstract
The article is concerned with the problem of psychological safety of personality with respect to a sense-making function in the context of professional activities. The study has provided further view on the phenomenon of psychological safety of personality in the framework of a meaningful context (specificity of a level of life meaningfulness). The rationale for the idea to consider “meaningful content” to be a structural component of psychological safety of personality has been provided. The author identified the parameters of psychological safety of personality when doing a comparative analysis of interpersonal criteria for developing meaningful spheres of coal industry workers. A complex analysis of personality traits of coal industry workers has been supplied, which are of great significance for the assessment of productive activities and accurate forecasting. A psychosocial aspect of safety needs to be taken into account when arranging and managing a production process.
