Some Peculiarities of the Dynamics of Value Orientations of Youth in Crisis Situations (Based on 2015 and 2020 Research)

Abstract
The research undertaken in 2015 and 2020 has shown that youth retains its values reflecting basic orientations of their functioning. Compared with the 2015 and 2020 studies regarding preservation of basic values there is an increase in the number of some alternative attitudes with invariability of average indices. Ethno-psychological data in the Siberian regions show that the is manifest and/or hidden (unconscious) differentiation of the levels of Siberian individuals’ strive for their ethnoreligious identity which is the phenomenon of distinctiveness (indigenousness), which is some kind of personality uniqueness formed in specific conditions of external and social environment. The pandemic resulted in the increased necessity in informal communication with loved ones and even with strangers, while pathologic individualism has now been downgraded in a human value system. The respondents think that creative personality resources should counteract negative tendencies caused by the pandemic. During the pandemic most of all people missed nature, physical activity, and outdoor activities. Keywords: pandemic, mental health, spiritual and material values, homeland, nature attributes.
