The paper analyzes basic concepts of the study of the aggression phenomenon as an individual and typological manifestation in late adolescence. The need to study the phenomenon of aggression in late adolescence is due to a number of key reasons. Firstly, aggression as a behavioral manifestation is a crucial affective and destructive problem leading to “extreme” manifestations (behavior deviation). Secondly, the consequences of aggressive acts can be rather dangerous: from academic failures to psychological disorders. Thirdly, being a widespread phenomenon at the current stage of society development, aggression is increasingly viewed as an accepted response to unfavorable surroundings, which itself is abnormal.
