The Peculiarities of Professional Identity of Entrants of Humanitarian Directions

The article analyzes the problem of professional identity of entrants who have just started their studies. The authors compare the features of the identity of those who stopped training in the chosen direction, and those who continued it. In a sample of 400 subjects, the authors show the place of the professional component in the system of identity of such students, and especially their connection with the crisis of identity, as well as its status. It turned out that among those who stopped studying, professional identity does not have a certain status and does not involve transformation due to the crisis, and among those students who continued their education, from the very beginning the educational and professional aspects of identity are a kind of core of transformation processes.
