The paper presents the results of the theoretical analysis of the scientific approaches to positive human functioning. The author has considered theoretical and empirical studies of the phenomena of «happiness», «psychological well-being», «personality well-being», and «subjective well-being» and provided a generalized list of elements of positive human functioning. The problem of positive human functioning is being theoretically and empirically studied due to the increasing number of its elements and establishing the conceptual framework. Meaningful theoretical generalization and correlation of the concepts under study pointed up subjective well-being as a systemic phenomenon that includes the widest possible range of subjective and objective factors of positive human functioning.
