Dynamics of identity crisis of young and old adolescent subjects is analyzed. Criteria of identity crisis used in Russian psychology are considered in the view of various techniques. Based on the empirical study conducted on the sampling of young and old adolescent subjects the author comes to the conclusion that there are some peculiarities of identity dynamics in crisis situation. The results obtained when using various techniques reveal gradual decrease of crisis phenomena in identity with old adolescents and increase of identity crisis phenomena with young adolescents. Moreover subjects of different age have their identity dynamics focused on different aspects: with young adolescents it is more related to an emotional aspect, and with old adolescents it is more within interpersonal and professional relationships.
