Stress Resistance and Life-Purpose Orientations of Medical Personnel in the Context of SARS CoV 2 Spread

Abstract
The sampling included 73 healthcare practitioners with experience of work in settings highly affected by Covid-19, both males and females aged 22-52. To study peculiarities of psychological resilience standardized psychodiagnostic techniques have been used. 36% subjects have shown a high level of stress resistivity, 64% subjects have shown a medium level. No health care practitioners with a low level of neuro-psychical resilience have been revealed. The study proved that doctors have a higher level of neuro-psychical resilience than a paramedical staff does. Moreover, Purpose-in-Life Test have shown that doctors have higher indices in “meaningful life”, as well as an internal locus of control identifying one’s own personality as an instrument having impact on the events.
