Improving Training to Help Women for a New Baby at Neonatal and Psychological Centers

Abstract
The article aims at solving a vital issue of population growth in Russia. In this sense, the authors point out the necessity of providing medical and psychological support to pregnant women to prepare them for childbirth. For health practitioners, psychologists, and clients to work with expectant mothers successfully the article has given a rationale for creating an autonomous department at policlinics, maternity hospitals, or sanatoriums – that is a neonatal and psychological center. The authors have suggested their conception of the term, described the mission of neonatal and psychological centers, determined the content of client relationship, worked out and substantiated a practice oriented theoretical model including organizational, subject-action, reflexive and evaluative components.
