Some Aspects of Creative Thinking of Deprived Students of the Boarding School of Music

Abstract

The article describes the results of the empirical research of creative thinking of deprived adolescent students of the boarding school of music. Creative thinking is seen as the process of creating a fundamentally new product, as well as personality’s active search for new non-standard solutions, a new take on old solutions, the process is aimed at addressing the issue. The analysis of the approaches to the issue of creative thinking revealed some features of creative thinking in general. Deprived students of the boarding school of music have been proved to have typically low level of verbal and nonverbal creative thinking in general. There is decline in originality of nonverbal creative thinking, with verbal thinking prevailing over nonverbal one.
