The paper presents the results of the study of sexual identity of senior adolescent boys and girls. It has revealed some specific aspects of sexual identity of senior adolescents due to gender and specifics of sexual identity. The authors developed factor models of sexual identity of senior adolescent boys and girls that identify themselves as belonging to a homosexual orientation group of people and traditional heterosexual group of people. Sexual identity of senior adolescents with traditional sexual orientation was distinguished by integrity of its components, it was formed on the basis of self-understanding and self-control, while sexual identity of adolescents with nontraditional sexual orientation was non-integrated, discordant, with sexual attitudes being prevalent.
