Experimental Psychological Research of «Mosaic Thinking»: the Results of Testing of the Experiment Program

Within the framework of this study “mosaic thinking” study is seen as the whole of cognitive-style peculiarities of cognitive activity. Theoretical analysis revealed such attributes of “mosaic thinking” as preponderance of visual information handling over semantic one, high rate of information handling, decline in generalizing and making sense of the information. The procedure of “mosaic thinking” study through experimental modeling is described. The idea of “mosaic thinking” as a cognitive-style feature of cognitive activity is empirically justified. “Mosaic thinking” attributes are empirically verified.
