The article is devoted to the development of scientific category of «political intelligence» with the methodology of social psychology. The authors analyze existing concepts of political intelligence, and identify ways to develop this category and current research directions. Data of the empirical analyzes of the correlation of political, public, social, and emotional intelligence is published here. These results suggest a political intelligence application view of social intelligence, and demonstrate its many relations to general and emotional intelligence.
