Author(s)

Abstract

The 2014 Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine spurred interest to the concept of isomorphism introduced by Gestalt psychology. The paper considers potential kinds of isomorphism in a variety of possibilities, such as: 1) inanimate nature phenomena, 2) in animated nature, 3) outer and inner world phenomena, 4) social and psychological isomorphism, and 5) cultural isomorphism. Using particular examples of personality peculiarities, personified activity and ecological economics the author attempts to show the role isomorphism plays in the harmony of man’s relations with the world around.
