Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor V. V. Kozlov, being an established authority in transpersonal psychology in Russia and one of the founders of integrative psychology, has written a series of papers presenting ideas, attitudes, and myths concerning death phenomenon in the history of mankind and scientific research. Psychological mechanisms of world understanding through death lessons are described. Person’s lifetime spiritual quest through the experience of dying state is considered.
