Creative Thinking as a Creative Component of Conflict Competence of Teachers in Inter-Ethnic Conflicts

Abstract
It proves that conflict competence possesses some characteristics of communication competence: structural complexity, relatedness to level characteristics of creative thinking. The process of creative conflict solving has been proved to be characterized by a predominant over-situational level of thinking. The author gives a brief overview of the apprenticeship training program “Interethnic Conflict Prevention” designed to develop improve teachers’ competences in multicultural education. The article concludes by presenting the project “How to develop teacher’s tolerance” worked out by the program participants.
