Nonspecific Dysfunctions of Junior School Children of the Corrective School

Abstract

The relevance of the study arises from the need to seek alternative ways to improve effectiveness of corrective school junior schoolchildren’s coping with the curriculum. The paper presents the results of the psychophysiological study of functional disorders of gnosis and praxis of first graders of normal intelligence with speech disorders. Underdeveloped gnostic functions, voluntary movements and actions of young schoolchildren of the correction school manifest themselves in varying degrees of manifestations of unspecific dysfunctions, and visual, auditory, tactile agnosia and apraxia. The author determined the share of schoolchildren with agnosia and apraxia symptoms with varying degrees of manifestation. Large differences on the frequency of nonspecific dysfunctions were found. The areas of focus of psychological aid were presented in details.
