Supra-Situatedness of Thinking as a Source of Realization of Event-Cognitive Components of a Subject at Various Stages of Professionalization of Psychologists

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the empirical studies of professionalization process at pre-university, university and postgraduate stages. Professionalization is seen in terms of professional thinking development, and its supra-situatedness as well. The author has provided rationalization for supra-situatedness for the first time as a resource of realization of event-cognitive components of a subject. The author showed the way supra-situatedness contributed to creativity and self-development when viewed as a resource. The ability to evaluate a problematic situation from the perspective of a holistic supra-situational context improves psychological counseling. The results obtained can prove helpful in developing and practical implementation of innovative educational projects aimed at improving professionalization of psychologists during their university study and in their professional activities.
