Abstract

The paper focuses on identification and analysis of interrelations of deviant practices used by young people in virtual environment. The sampling included 300 respondents aged from 18 to 25, SD – 2,3. The statistical validity of the interrelations was ascertained with the help of Spearman's rank correlation coefficient (Rs). The analysis revealed significant relationships between: flaming and trolling, fishing and scamming, cyberstalking and overt threat, scamming and sexting, and defamation and harassment. The article seeks to provide the analysis and interpretation of the ways cyber aggressive practices are related in each pair. It brings forward an original approach to classifying deviant practices found in virtual environment on the basis of the empirical results interpreted in this study.
