The paper deals with the problem of objective evaluation of theoretical-and-methodological and practical potential of the Russian psychological science. The author analyzed the data of the content analysis and the qualitative analysis of the publication activity of the leaders of basic scientific trends in the Russian psychology in the first half of XX century – pedology, psychotechnics, and psychoanalysis. The results of the analysis of the content and frequency of monographs, collections of research papers, and publications in periodicals lead to a conclusion that the research was mainly theoretical. Nonetheless, particular results of the leading psychologists’ work swork g psychologists'the ly theoretical. ns in ssian psychology in the first half of XX century - showed  suggest coherence and interrelation of scientific and practical psychology in Russia during the period under study.
