Thanatophobia

Abstract
In his series of papers Doctor of Sciences (Psychology), Professor V. V. Kozlov, being an acknowledged expert in transpersonal psychology in Russia and a cofounder of integrative psychology, describes notions, attitudes, myths of death phenomenon in mankind history and researches. Psychological mechanisms of life re-evaluation through death experience, lifelong spiritual quest of a person through dying experience are considered.
The third paper touches upon middle-age crisis associated with parents’ loss experience and giving the last lesson how to make his or her own life. A person shapes his or her destiny in accordance with death anxiety, which is the most stressful experience. Doing extreme activities a person is pandering with his or her death anxiety rather than death itself.
